【旅游日记英语作文初二(作文800字)】Last summer, I had the chance to go on a trip with my family to Hangzhou. It was my first time visiting this beautiful city, and I was very excited.
We arrived in Hangzhou early in the morning by train. The air was fresh, and the city looked very peaceful. Our first stop was West Lake, which is one of the most famous scenic spots in China. As we walked around the lake, I saw many people cycling, taking photos, and enjoying the scenery. The water was clear, and there were many willow trees along the banks. I felt like I was in a painting.
In the afternoon, we visited the Lingyin Temple, an ancient Buddhist temple. The temple was surrounded by green mountains and quiet forests. There were many monks and visitors walking around. I tried to understand the stories behind the statues and paintings, but it was a bit hard for me. However, I found it very interesting to learn about the culture and history of the place.
The next day, we went to the Su Causeway. It was named after a famous poet, Su Shi. The road was lined with flowers and trees, and the view from the top was amazing. We took a boat ride on the lake, and the experience was unforgettable. I could see the mountains in the distance and the boats moving slowly on the water. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
One of the best parts of the trip was trying the local food. We ate at a small restaurant near the lake and had delicious dishes like West Lake Vinegar Fish and Longjing Tea. The tea was very fragrant, and I loved the taste. My parents said that this was one of the best meals they had ever had.
On the last day, we bought some souvenirs and took a lot of photos. As we left the city, I felt a little sad because I didn’t want to go back. But I knew I would remember this trip forever.
This trip taught me a lot about nature, culture, and the importance of spending time with family. I hope I can visit Hangzhou again someday. It was not just a vacation, but also a wonderful learning experience.
