【英语作文:My（winter及holiday）】Winter holiday is one of the most exciting times of the year for me. This year, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable break. Unlike the busy school days, during the winter holiday, I could sleep longer and spend more time with my family.

The first few days of the holiday were spent on doing homework. I didn’t want to leave everything until the last minute. After finishing my tasks, I started to plan some fun activities. My parents and I decided to go on a short trip to a nearby mountain. The weather was cold but clear, and the snow made everything look beautiful. We had a lot of fun building snowmen and playing in the snow. It was the first time I had seen so much snow, and I really enjoyed it.

In addition to going out, I also spent some time reading books and watching movies. I read a few novels that I had been wanting to read for a long time. It was nice to have time to focus on something without any pressure. I also watched some English movies to improve my listening skills. Although some parts were difficult to understand, I tried to guess the meaning from the context.

Another thing I did during the holiday was helping my mom with housework. I cleaned my room, washed the dishes, and even helped cook dinner one day. It felt good to contribute and see the results of my work. My mom was proud of me, and that made me feel happy.

By the end of the holiday, I felt more relaxed and ready to go back to school. I had a great time, and I learned how important it is to take breaks and enjoy life. I hope next winter holiday will be just as fun.
